Mont Tremblant, a cute, purpose built, traffic free pedestrian village, is widely known and accepted as Eastern Canada's main destination resort and is constantly voted No 1 Resort in Eastern America by Ski Magazine. One of the most easily accessible North American ski resorts from the UK and Europe it attracts many British second home owners. At 870ft, and just 90 minutes from Montreal, its buildings ensure a wall of vibrant colours lining narrow traffic free, cobbled streets providing a very French Canadian feel to the resort.

A slope-side resort in the Laurentian Mountains, where the mountain dominates a stunningly beautiful countryside, it proudly offers a tremendous variety of entertainment available to families, and singles alike. Renowned for its real village charm and fantastic range of shops and boutiques, the warm hospitality, fine local food, international restaurants, après ski bars and nightlife set this resort apart from others and make it a wonderful place to own a second home.

Transformed from a local's hill thanks to the investment by Intrawest, the resort which opens its slopes from Thanksgiving to mid-April, offers easy access to the ski areas 4 faces. With regular storms that come in at the end of March, second home owners and visitors alike, are often greeted with fresh powder for the Easter weekend and beyond. Boasting 80km of piste made up of 95 runs (24 easy, 35 Intermediate and 36 difficult), serviced by 14 state of the art, queue free lifts, this a great place for all types of skier. With wide tree lined perfectly groomed runs, it is perfect for intermediaries and piste bashers. While for the advanced skier, half the runs are classified black some of which are super steep, top to bottom slopes.

To the South side, you can find the dedicated 2 acre, excellent beginners park with 2 magic carpets and long, easy, top to bottom greens to progress to, allowing beginners to learn with ease. The heated South Gondola takes you up to the top of the mountain at 2870ft and allows skiers and boarders to drop down onto the backside of the Mountain (North side) where you can enjoy the morning sun.

For snowboarders, this is one of the largest riding areas in Canada with amazing terrain and plenty to explore. The South side 30 acre 'Adrenaline' Terrain Park and half pipe for advanced riders while on the North side there is a beginner’s park. 90km of Cross Country trails, ice skating, sleigh rides, dog sledding, horseback riding, ice fishing, snow shoeing, tubing, snowmobiling, ice climbing, Spa, cooking classes, Casino, Tremblant offers activities to suit every taste and lifestyle and further enhance this wonderful resort.

With three distinct seasons for second home owners that want to rent their property, summer and Fall also ensure there is a plethora of activities on hand. Walking, biking, two golf courses, swimming lakes, climbing towers, zip lines, Arial lines, skyline luge, canoeing, beach and tennis club, day camps, Akropark, Adventurers club, horseback riding, Lake Tremblant cruises, dune buggy tours, pontoon rental, tin boat and runabout boat rental, rafting, wakeboarding, sailing, water skiing and fishing are just some of the many activities on hand.
