Known as the French 'Tyrol' due to its outstanding location and vistas of Mont Blanc, Les Saises is famed for its expanse of Nordic Ski tracks, of 120km and strong snow record, due to its altitude of 1650m. Les Saises has developed a well earned reputation as a family friendly ski village and playing host to the Winter Olympic cross country event in 1992, led to its establishment on the World stage, as a jewl of the Espace Diamant domain.
Les Saises is one of the six resorts that make up the Espace Diamant, the others being Praz Sur Arly, Flumet, Notre Dame de Bellecombe, Crest-Voland/Cohennoz and Hauteluce, between them offering some 200km of prime skiing.
Within the Espace Diamant, there are the following runs, offering something for absolutely everyone, from the youngest or least experienced skier, right through to the most advanced.

With 136 ski lifts linking them all.
Les Saises is not only a ski destination but in the summer takes on a whole different vibe, offering many other acitivities, suhc as paragliding, hot air ballooning, mountain boarding, quad biking and an ever increasing popularity with mountain bikers. Les Saises also has its own Aqua-Centre, which is open all year round.
