For those that want to purchase using option (1) there is no obligation to rent and you can use it whenever you require. VAT at 20% will need to be added to the price of this chalet if purchasing with option (1) giving a price of €551,300 (no furniture included)

Within option (2) owners have the freedom to use their chalet whenever they want for up to 6 months of the year. When not using the chalet, it is then rented on the owners behalf generating an income for the owner, resulting from the rental of the property. Under this scheme the VAT at 20% is recovered at the end of construction and the price at the end will be as shown  €487,916 including furniture.
