A magical Christmas in the Alps

In theory, Christmas is a magical time of year, when families come together and all is well with In practice, it can be a stressful and exhausting time of year. That’s why we believe it’s the perfect time for a festive family holiday - keep reading to find out why:

No everyday stress

When you spend the festive season at home, it’s easy for the stresses and niggles of everyday life to seep in. Whether you’re thinking about work when you’re cooking the turkey or doing loads of laundry between hosting guests, the day-to-day doesn’t stop.

Take yourself away for the holiday season, and you might find it easier to switch off. Work, laundry and the rest will still be there when you get back, but for a week or two you can leave the world behind.

Magical scenery

In many countries you can’t bank on a white Christmas - and in some it’s downright likely to be dull and gloomy. In the Alps in December, you can rely on snowy scenery straight off the front of a Christmas card.

What better place to spend Christmas than in a winter wonderland?

Ski fun

In much of the Alps the ski season has started in earnest by the end of December, making Christmas week a little more relaxed and for fans of the sport there’s no better way to spend the most festive time of the year. Swap your Boxing Day walk for a brisk turn on the slopes and burn off some of those festive Christmas treats!

Buying in the Alps

For fans of the region, there’s no better way to make the most of the Alps than by investing in property. Not only can you enjoy as many holidays as you wish each year, you can also rent out your property when it isn’t in use and recoup a lot of the costs.
