The 160 km of piste accessed by an array of 38 modern lifts, capable of carrying skiers without delay, the ski domain caters for all levels of skiers with a mix of beginner, intermediate and advanced slopes. The 50,000m2 Amonia snowpark comprising boardercross, quarter-pipes, big-air and rails and is a treat for experienced or beginner freestylers alike, making this an exceptional ski area. With glacial skiing, great cross country opportunities (35km), snowshoes (15km) and 65km of signposted winter paths in majestic settings, the 6km, day/night sledge piste, is one of the most stunning sledge runs in Switzerland, providing an adrenaline packed altitude drop from 2400m to 1500m.
As well as the skiing and sledging there is a wide selection of other winter activities to choose from including, curling, ice skating, paragliding, horse drawn carriages or horse riding, snow tubing, airboarding, snow kiting, Nordic skiing, heli-skiing and Monster 4x4 riding. While in summer, the 300km of hiking trails and 180km of cross country mountain bike trails (40km downhill), range from 500m to 3000m and extended between mountain lakes and shaded forests. The resort boasts 3 golf courses including the Seve Ballesteros Championship Course, which hosts the annual Omega European Masters, the most famous European golf tournament and second only to the British Open.

Crans Montana can easily be reached by plane via Geneva, taking 2 hours by car from the airport. During the winter, Sion can be reached direct from the London airports by a number of specialist charter flights or by private plane, giving passengers an easy 40 minute drive up into the resort. A train service links Geneva to Sierre where a bus service takes you to the resort. Approximate transfer time from Geneva 2 1/2 hours. The high speed train TGV des Neiges from Paris runs direct to Sierre every Saturday in the winter season.
