Morzine: Family, fun, food - what more could you want from a resort?

Posted on Tuesday 04th April 2017 by Lesley Thomas

It’s a simple recipe for a family holiday - plenty of activites for all the family to enjoy, along with some culinary experiences to tickle the tastebuds.

For chilled out fun the whole family will enjoy, Morzine has it all. Located just 70 minutes from Geneva Airport, this all year round destination could not be more ideally located.  A plethora of excellent ski schools mean Mum and Dad can get some quality time on the slopes while little ones get their ‘ski legs’ under the watchful eye of a trained professional.

Holidays and time spent together as a family, are all about memory making and a ski holiday is no different. Discussing the day’s activities and bonding over a meal, is a perfect way to end the day. Morzine has an abundance of eateries on offer, including several that come highly recommended - try The Farmhouse or L’Atelier for a nice date-night or dinner out with friends.

You can enjoy fine dining at any time of year, and during the summer months Morzine is also a fun place to take a family holiday. Easy access to all sorts of adventure sports and outdoor activities like climbing, white water rafting and paragliding will get the adrenalin rushing for adventure junkies, and with many of them suitable for older teens, it’s sure to be a hit with the younger members of your party.

It’s a location that really does offer the best of all worlds, with fabulous skiing in winter and incredible scenery and outdoor activities in the summer. If you’re already in love with the place, take a look at the amazing chalets and apartments in Morzine that we have available.
