Les Airelles, Courchevel

The resort town of Courchevel boasts an extremely impressive seven establishments which have been given the nod by the Michelin guide book.

The very best of these is Les Airelles, where the setting is just as breath-taking as the food - prepared by chef Pierre Gagnier.

Incredible eclectic food is served up on Hermes tableware and other design elements are provided by othe French luxury brands - you won’t forget a meal here in a hurry!

 Flocons de Sel, Megève

 Chef Emmanuel Renaut at Flocons de Sel’s experiments with flavour combinations have earned the restaurant two Michelin stars - that’s recommendation enough for most people!

You can also take a break from the slopes and come inside for a cookery lesson at this establishment - you may not be cooking like a Flocons de Sel chef right away, but you can learn some of their tricks of the trade to take back to your own culinary pursuits.

La Table de l'Ours, Val d'Isère

The only restaurant in Val d’Isere with a Michelin star, La Table de l’Ours has a particularly exceptional wine list, and offers a relaxed fine dining experience complete with roaring open fire during the winter months.

The modern and unpretentious French cooking is perfect fare for skiers in need of sustenance, and diners can reasonably expect to pay less than 100 euros a head - a bargain by Michelin standards!
