The 160 km of piste and a 50,000 m2 snow park make this an exceptional ski area. Accessed by an array of 38 modern lifts capable of carrying skiers without delay, the ski domain caters for all levels of skiers with a mix of beginner, intermediate and advanced slopes.

The Amonia snowpark comprises boardercross, quarter-pipes, big-air and rails and is a treat for experienced or beginner freestylers alike. A bar with deckchairs in he middle of the snowpark can also be found.

 

As well as the skiing and sledging there is a wide selection of winter activities to choose from including curling, ice skating, paragliding, horse drawn carriages or horse riding, snow tubing, airboarding, snow kiting, Nordic skiing, heliskiing and Monster 4x4 riding.

In the Summer, the 300Km of hiking trails range from 500m to 3000m and extend between mountain lakes and shaded forests making this very much a dual resort to cater for all your needs.

As well as walking, there are 180km of cross country and 40km of downhill Mountain Bike trails and a Bike Park offering varying levels of difficulty to allow you to test and improve your technical mountain biking skills.

 

 

The resort boasts 3 golf courses including the Seve Ballesteros Championship Course which hosts the annual Omega European Masters, the most famous European golf tournament and second only to the British Open.

 

 

In addition to the Masters, there are numerous International Sporting Events that take place in Crans Montana including Mountain Biking, Cycling, Horse Jumping,  Marathon and even Rally Car Racing.

 

Crans Montana can be reached by plane via Geneva taking 1 hour 45 minutes by car from the airport. During the winter, Sion can also be reached direct from the London airports and takes approximately 40 minutes by bus or car hire from Sion airport.

A train service links Geneva to Sierre where a bus service takes you to the resort. Approximate transfer time from Geneva 2 1/2 hours. The TGV des Neiges’ , the high speed train from Paris to Sierre direct, also runs every Saturday in the winter season.

 

The 250 boutiques spread throughout the resort offers a shoppers paradise. With all the biggest names in French and Italian fashion designers, Swiss Watches, Jewellers and 5 art galleries hosting internationally renowned artists work, there’s something to tempt everyone.

Crans Montana’s abundant selection of bars and clubs with an extremely varied choice of venues means nightlife here is very exciting while the Casino with its bar and restaurant provides perfect surroundings to relax in a friendly and modern environment.

The 6km, day/night sledge piste is one of the most stunning sledge runs in Switzerland. The drop in altitude from 2400m to 1500m is adrenaline packed.
