Construction is under way on the Panoramic Express — an $8 million detachable six-pack chairlift that takes riders to the top of Parsenn Bowl.

Once completed, the Panoramic Express will be North America's highest high-speed six-pack chair, at about 12,060 feet above sea level.

Key projects under way include improvements to the Ski-Back Trail to take riders from Mary Jane to the Winter Park base, an arrival plaza and a three-level parking structure. Construction is in progress on The Village (slated to open during the 2008-2009 ski season) and The Village Lofts. Housing at Fraser Crossing and Founders Pointe is scheduled for completion in late 2007. And groundbreaking on The Ridge is planned for later this year. Future phases include a new check-in centre, waterfront plaza, Fraser River enhancements and a family swim centre.
