The Resort and Area The dual season, south facing village of Anzere is beautifully situated at the heart of the Swiss Alps. Only 15 km from Sion, and being South facing it is known for its long hours of sunshine and very little rainfall. The winter resort has 40km of skiing terrain at between 1500 and 2420 metres, serviced by 11 different ski lifts and is in close proximity to Crans Montana and a short 45 minute drive to the 4 Valleys region, if you fancy a change of scenery.

How to get to Anzere Anzere can be reached by plane via Geneva and during the winter Sion can be reached direct from the London airports and then by bus or car hire at the airport. A train service operates from Geneva to Sion where a bus service can take you to the resort. Approximate transfer time 2 hours from Geneva. By road, Anzere is 175km from Geneva via A1 and N9 roads (exit Sion est. Val D’Herens Ayant) and then follow signs to Anzere. Approximate driving time 2 hours from Geneva and we will assist you with arrangements if you wish to visit any of the properties shown. |

A new winter sports “fun space” is the new attraction with a permanent boardercross, while there is also a fantastic sledge trail running through the forest as well as night runs and a Cross Country trail. The resort boasts all the usual amenities including sports shops offering everything from ski equipment rental and ski schools to restaurants, bars and discothèque's necessary for that Après Ski feeling after a days skiing. A heated open air public swimming pool is in the heart of the village. Open from June to September, its an ideal place to relax in the sun and a fun, safe place for children. You can also play golf at the 9 Hole course in Sion or a short drive gives you the chance to play the two outstanding signature courses by Jack Nicklaus and Severiano Ballesteros in Crans-Montana. Alternatively why not take in those breathtaking alpine mountain views as you trek along the mountain paths. There’s also mountain biking, riding, paragliding, fishing and much more to do here. |
